Zachary Gilbert Patton is an award winning filmmaker based in Toronto, Canada.  A graduate of the Media Arts Program at Sheridan College, Zachary also went on to graduate with Honours from York University - receiving his BFA in Screenwriting.

Having won many awards for his dramatic short films, including Best Canadian Short Film at the Montreal World Film Festival, Zachary has recently found himself travelling in a documentary lane. His work with the not-for-profit organization ‘Darkspark’ has taken him all across the country and their work was recently awarded an Intercultural Innovation Award from the United Nations.

Zachary’s most recent short film ‘Delusion’ has him teaming up with other non-profits and mental health advocates such as CMHA and the Ontario Trillium Foundation to tell the true story of his cousin’s schizophrenia diagnosis. The film was recently asked to screen at this years EPION Conference (Early Psychosis Intervention In Ontario) downtown Toronto.

Having worked with a multitude of high end brands, industry talent and collaborators, Zachary’s primary focus is a relentless search for the truth in every frame.
